What is Linda's expertise?

Linda began her journey helping people heal from chronic disease with forms of energy medicine and the Seven Steps to Healing in 2005. A conventionally trained MD, graduating in 1993, she learned early in her medical career that conventional medicine doesn’t cure disease, but only maintains it. So she learned through seminars, valuable mentors, and self-study what the body needs to heal itself. Through the course of her medical career, she helped patients heal from addiction, fibromyalgia, autoimmune diseases and other conditions untreatable by conventional medicine. She found out that nothing is impossible by the body if the necessary factors for healing are present.

Her first career was as a secondary education science teacher. So she is comfortable talking to students, other teachers, and any other group, and can easily modify her presentation to any educational level.

She’s the author of the best-selling book, Target: Pain Doc which is a fictionalized account of the attack on her office. As a victim of the government attacks on pain management physicians, she can address what is happening in the arena of the government-created “opioid crisis”. Blaming drugs for addiction is a 100-year-old agenda for racial discrimination and disenfranchisement, and Dr. Cheek can expose it for what it is.
